Versa 2 Possible Charging Water damage?

I was washing my hands, and the Versa 2 got a bit wet. I charged it anyway, and it didn't charge. It was still a bit wet, so I dried it off and plugged it in again. It charged, but the battery drains quickly now. Also, on the back of the Fitbit, it is sort of wrinkly, so I am concerned that the battery may be damaged.

 

What do I do?

The Versa 2 should be waterproof. Some of us swim and dive with them regularly. You can try putting it in a sealed bag with rice, instant rice, instant couscous, cat litter, silica packets, or other drying agent. Let it sit for a day or two and try it again.

 

Did you change anything else recently? Maybe install a firmware update or phone app?
