I have a Versa 2, I run three times a week, and my Versa 2 never calculates my pace and distance correctly. I know my pace, and I run with friends with different fitness watches, and mine is always way faster. This morning for instance I ran 3 miles in 30:02. The Versa 2 calculated 3.6 miles at an 8:29 pace. It is consistently tracking me way too fast. I think it has been in target five times in the last three months since I’ve had it. The map is always correct. I’ve even run with the GPS off to see if it will at least get it right based on my stride. Still no. I’ve set the stride to automatically detect before - same result.
I have manually set my stride length. Background refresh is on for the app. GPS is connected. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned the watch on and off again. I even use the running app within the app, and even that pace and distance is incorrect.
I hate to say it, but this thing might have been the worst gift ever, and I can’t return it for that reason. I am desperate for a solution. What is the point in having a fitness tracker if it is ALWAYS inaccurate?

Hi @TX2986, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since the running pace and distance is off. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.
After this, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
