Hi I currently have the versa 2 and loved it but thinking of upgrading to a newer model my main use of the Fitbit is steps, running, sleep tracking and listening to my music when I am on my runs. I have heard that the newer models can’t control your music I have Spotify. Also with the versa 2 you could swipe down and control the music when it’s played on your iPhone when you have opened the Spotify app.

If you love what you have, why change? Don't automatically assume newer will be better for your needs.

Welcome on board to our community forums @Littleone888! Thanks a lot for your feedback!
@JohnnyRow, It’s nice to see you around!
@Littleone888, it's great to read you've enjoyed your Versa 2 and are considering an upgrade! I can definitely help clarify some of the changes with the newer Fitbit models, especially concerning music control, as that's a key feature for you.
You're right to be concerned about music control on the newer models. Unfortunately, Fitbit Sense, Versa 3/4 and our trackers such as Charge 5/6 models, do not offer on-device music storage for Spotify, nor do they allow you to directly control Spotify playing on your iPhone in the same way your Versa 2 does. This is a significant change that many users upgrading from older models notice.
Since having control over your music is essential to keeping you moving and enjoying your workouts, your Versa 2 continues to offer the best experience for your current workflow.
