Versa 2-Text Messages Not Coming Through

Just bought a Versa 2 Fitbit. Connected/paired with my iPhone 12, iOS 16.2

deleted the Fitbit app, turned my phone on and off, notifications for text messages are on, receiving calls, Snapchat, calendar events, everything is working but I am still not receiving text messages on my new Versa 2. I have tried all the trouble shooting and nothing seems to work.

Hi @tgutzie - if you deleted the Fitbit App you will need to setup Notifications and App notifications again.

And on the watch, pull down the watch face once and then again and tap on the 2 white bars to get to Quick Settings and check that Sleep or Do not disturb haven't accidentally been turned on which will stop messages coming. A long press of the button may be a shortcut.

@tgutzie  - do you have show preview turned on?

The app can transfer any pop up notifications to the watch. If they don't popup on the phone it won't.

I am having the same issue. I’ve reached out to Fitbit support and had to take screen shots of various settings on my phone. So far no solution.

I have this problem every couple of days and only way to fix is to hold down button on side of watch until watch restarts then i will get all notifications for a couple of days then it will randomly stop until this process is repeated.
