Versa 2 Unlock issue

I have a versa 2 that is telling me to unlock with phone. When I go into phones Fitbit app the watch is no longer recognised so unable to choose an unlock option. I have tried to resync / link device as new but watch not syncing? Any help appreciated.

If the Fitbit Versa 2 gets locked, you can enter a personal 4-digit PIN code to unlock it. If you enter an incorrect PIN code 10 times, you're prompted to unlock it with your paired phone as explained in this article

 

When setting up Fitbit Pay a bonded is created between your phone and your Fitbit Versa 2. To unlock your watch with your phone it is required having the watch paired to your Fitbit account.
