Versa 2 Update

I’ve been checking the app store and when I look at the apps some of them say that I need the latest update installed to download it, checked my fitbit for updates, and none appeared. Not sure if everyone has the update. Version: 70.7.14

Hi @SunsetRunner  the latest app for your phone might be different from the same app for a newer operating system. You need at least Android 8 or iOS 13 to use the whole range of features for the Fitbit device.  You can only get the latest Fitbit app for your current phone. The maker of the apps determines which operating system their app will work with and those makers are independent, not Fitbit. The current firmware for your Versa 2 is 35.72.1.9

Quick Question! I am having the same Issue. I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra so I have the latest Android available but my Versa 2 has the same firmware as mentioned above, Version 35.70.7.14. My fitbit app has no updates, my phone has no updates and my watch will not update to the latest firmware version you mention above, Version 35.72.1.9. I have force stopped the app, reset the app, turned the watch off, disconnected the watch and resynced it....nothing gives me the option to update which hinders me from downloading certain apps/watch faces. For example, I'd like to download the sp02 watch interface offered by Fitbit but I'm unable because it says I don't have the latest firmware. What needs to be done in order for my Versa to update to the latest firmware version?

Hi @avenglar  firmware will update when you see it announced on your app's dashboard. There isn't anything you can do to make it happen sooner.
