Versa 2 Waterproof concerns

I have been using my Versa 2 while swimming in a pool for 12 months now. A few days ago it died. I contacted support and they have agreed to send a replacement.

I t happened just after swimming but I didn't relate it to this at the time because the Versa 2 is advertised as waterproof for swimming. 

Having researched it I see that there are many people who have experienced the same thing after using it for swimming.

There is a lot of evidence on the Internet that they should not be used for swimming.

I now have concerns about using my replacement for swimming.

Are they waterproof or not??

Hi @MarkTW  - as you found the answer, the solution is simple. If outside or near the end of warranty don't risk getting your device wet. Better to be safe than sorry.
