Versa 2 always on display issue

Hi Fitbit community,

 

My new Fitbit Versa 2 arrived today. I followed the set up and installed the recommended update.

 

My issue is with the always on display.

 

When I select always on display and try to edit what information will be displayed I only get a clock that says what time it is. So I cant see my calories or steps in the always on display.

Also I try to switch between an analogue or digital clock to appear but i only see this type of clock: 5:30 for example.

I know the always on feature will impact the battery but I am a bit curious as to why this is happening since the watch is brand new and out of the box

 

Any help would be great.
