Versa 2 + amazon acount

My husband & I have Versa 2 watches.  We have an Amazon Prime account under my email address.  Can we both access Alexa on our watches with the one Amazon Prime account or does he need to create a basic Amazon account to connect with his watch?  He was getting email/text on his watch until the last update?  Now he doesn't seem to be getting them.

I would think you could both be connected to the same alexa account.

Your also asking about a notification issue with a phone, we will need to know what phone platform.
