Versa 2 and Spotify not connecting

my versa2 is connected to my phone, and i have spotify premium, but it wont connect via app and says to turn my bluetooth on even though it is. can anyone provide guidance?

I had the same trouble. I had to play with my Fitbit under settings, then Bluetooth, tap the screen until it says pair. Then use your phone to scan or fresh for available devices. Then sign in and under the Spotify app within you Fitbit app...

I figured it out and this fixed it on my versa 1 and OnePlus 7 pro.

 

1. Tap and hold the Spotify app icon, click app info / add details option.

 

2. Click WiFi and mobile data settings and make sure Spotify has both background data unrestricted data usage toggled on.

 

This fixed the issue for me. Happy Christmas!

This is junk. The answer just explains how to use the app properly. Not troubleshoot a misbehaving Versa2/phone. Too bad.
