Versa 2 backlight flickering randomly.

I just noticed that i had to bump up my brightness because the normal setting was too dim all the time. it is flicking randomly almost all the time. if I hit the watch face with a flashlight it light up solid but normal room brightness has it flickering all the time. I have tried rebooting it and even a factory reset. but it continues to flicker. Any ideas I looked through the forums and could not find a match to the issue.

Hello @GregLockie I'm assuming that you are referring to the Bersa display, since the Versa does not have a backlight. 

Check your brightness setting it sounds like it may be set for Auto

@Rich_Laue  I do believe the AMOLED display does have a backlight built in.I am not sure what Bersa display is?


I have the display at max and it is often to dim to view. if I flip my arm up and look at it the screen flickers getting brighter and dim repeatedly, never settling on a brightness.  It reminds me of a computer monitor with the back light starting to go out.  

 

there is no auto setting.  just Dim -> Normal -> Max
