Bought brand new versa 2 and not updating or syncing to my phone (Samsung) & battery sign is moving back in forth as if charging when it's not charging.

Hi there @TGleaves, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the syncing and battery issues you're having with your Versa 2, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll be glad to help you.
In order to charge your Versa 2, please try the steps provided here: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Once you've made sure that your watch is fully charged, please try syncing your watch. If you cannot sync it, please verify if your Versa 2 is still connected to your Fitbit app. To see when was the last time your watch synced or check if it's still paired to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image. If your watch got mistakenly unpaired, please set it up again by following the steps at: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

It's not a battery issue. It seems to be that the Bluetooth connection from
the Vers 2 is not connecting to the app anymore. I'm just going to return
it. It's been charging for awhile now.
