Versa 2 battery and syncing issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the Fitbit Versa 2 and I'm having issues where the battery dies extremely quick, it won't syn to either of the devices I've tried, and the time is very slow. I thought it was an issue with my Fitbit Versa 2 itself so I had a replacement device sent to me and I'm having the same exact issue. Does anyone know what may be causing this?? I've tried all of the trouble shooting to get this stupid thing to syn and it won't and I'm honestly feeling very frustrated and not sure what I can even do at this point.

Hi there @purplebmw, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the syncing and battery issues you've been having with your Versa 2, I understand why you're feeling frustrated. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot the issue prior to posting here,  I'll be glad to continue to help you.

As a friendly reminder, keep in mind that your watch may show an incorrect time either if it hasn't recently synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with.

With that said, please verify if your Versa 2 is still connected to your Fitbit app. To see when was the last time your watch synced or check if it's still paired to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image. If your watch got mistakenly unpaired, please set it up again by following the steps at: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you continue having syncing difficulties after following the steps above, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Also, I wondered if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Regarding the battery, please see: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

I'm looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the quick response. However, this ain't my first rodio with

this issue. I've tried and looked into the things you have suggested. My

device isn't compatable neither was the old device I had but my mom who has

the same exact phone I used to have, and the same exact device I have, has

zero issues. I've already been informed neither of my devices are

compatable so I'm aware of that but I've had this thing fro 3 months prior

with zero issues and then all of the sudden I have nothing but issues. As

far as the battery is concerned. I don't have always on display on or

anything else that should drain the battery in 8hrs. I have the motion

sense on and that is it. I've looked at the forum concerning battery and it

doesn't seem to be what I am looking for. I don't have anything extra running that should cause the battery to die THAT quick.
