Versa 2 battery draining quickly

  Hi everyone.  I bought a Versa 2 a few months back.  It was doing well up until about a few weeks ago.  I noticed now that I have to charge it every other day.  I have turned off notifications and it still drains.  I charged it on Sunday evening and just noticed it is a 47 percent.  I am really at a loss.

Funny you should say that. I had had the Namaste clock face and noticed
the other day that it was gone. I have tried to download a different one
and it won't download properly.

For some reason, choosing a new watchface, my Fitbit reset and now does nothing.  It is charged.  My mobile cannot connect with it nor my PC.

I wish they would replace mine.  I have had fitbit for years and there has always been some issues with them,.  I bought my last Versa 2 just before Christmas as a gift to ,myself and it worked for a bit then started not keeping track of things then the blue tooth would not sync, etc. etc. etc.  Last night I posted of how the battery drains daily and it was said to get a different clock face.  I tried but none could be added.  Versa would not sync with my PC or mobile.  I reset it to factory settings and it would do nothing.  I even bought the fitbit connect from Microsoft store.  Still nothing.  I can go online to fitbit and it says it has synced but shows nothing.  Mobile Bluetooth will not sync at all.  I have followed all of the things mentioned and again nothing.  I am telling you the apple watch is looking mighty good at this time.  I am just getting so sick of fitbit.

Hi @SunsetRunner  which operating system is your phone ? Fitbits are made to be used with mobile devices. I'm not sure why you'd pay for Fitbit Connect, as it was a free app. Just to be sure, I've notified a moderator about your post and maybe they can answer your questions.

I have an android ver. 11. I used to have the fitbit connect but lost
it. I have been unable to find it online and was directed to Microsoft and
they sell it. It is what it is. Thanks.

Just to confirm, you didn't pay anything for getting Fitbit Connect right? This should be free on the Microsoft app Store. https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/fitbit/9WZDNCRFJ1XX?hl=en-us&gl=US

What I bought was the "fitbit connect" not the fitbit app. I got a
message from someone who said for me to change my clock face. I actually
reset the fitbit to factory settings. It has been since then that my
versa2 will not since to my mobile. I have an android ver 11. I can
download the fitbit app onto my mobile and PC but it is only on the mobile
it will not since. Cannot find the versa it says. My versa only has the
logo on it. I have googled and been on the website and nothing.

Please if you paid for Fitbit Connect, I recommend you to request a refund as Fitbit Connect is free. 

Should you have paid someone to have it installed, that's another thing, as you were paying for the service.

 

Either way, I suggest you to have a chat with our team regarding the battery of your Versa 2.

I am not concerned about the fitbit connect. What concerns me is that my
months old versa has no firmware on it. I have looked and looked at how to
get it to update but nothing.

@SunsetRunner , Thank you for your message. On the Fitbit app tapp on your profile picture and then on the Versa. 

Below the title you'll see the Firmware installed on the watch. 

It should be VERSION 32.72.1.19. If you see this, your watch doesn't need a firmware update.

Why would changing the clock face make any difference to the battery emptying? Until yesterday I had no trouble with my fitbit holding its charge, then suddenly it had drained. Charged it before I went to bed and it had drained overnight. It now won't sync to my phone, even tried the "find my phone" feature and nothing.

Honestly I could not tell you except that I tried and it did nothing. I
also tried everything else that was recommended then ended up having to go
to support. They are sending me a replacement.
