Hello
I’ve had my Versa 2 for a while now and it’s always gone about 6-7 days between charges. All of a sudden, it drains in a day - the change was literally overnight.
I haven’t changed the clock face in well over a year and nothing else has changed.
What can I do?

Hi @Sarahwillo73 - it's possible it suffered water damage which results in more severe battery draining.
You could try syncing and do a full Shutdown from the watch Settings, About menu, Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
If it gets hot stop immediately.
You may get some improvement if it is indeed water damage by drying it in a bag of rice for some days.

Hi there, @Sarahwillo73. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. @Guy_ Thanks for your help!
As you may know, your Versa 2 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.
That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

I don't use any of the features you mentioned - GPS, Spotify, etc. I literally use my fitbit as a watch and step tracker. So that cannot be a factor in why the battery is very suddenly draining within a day.
As for the clock face, again I've been using the same clock face for a long time, so why would that suddenly make the battery drain quicker? Also, if clock faces other than those designed by Fitbit make the battery drain quicker, then why are they even available? (I did change to a Fitbit clock face and it made no difference at all). I also did the shutdown and restarted it, but that had no effect either.
So much of this doesn't make any sense to me.
I haven't even had this Fitbit for 3 years yet, and it sound like I'm basically being told that it's reached the end of its shelf life and it's time to buy a new one, which I just don't find acceptable.
