I have my versa for 3 yrs and batt is showing signs of weakening, lasting for only 2 days
I like to recycle, upcycle my stuff and hate to waste
Can the batt be replaced?

Hi @LoveMyThings - it is often not the battery that is the problem and in any case Fitbits are not repaired.
Look to the cause which may well be the new V4 Fitbit App.
Try turning off Bluetooth when you are not actually syncing (or even putting the watch in sleep mode too) and see if the battery life improves. Obviously you won't get notifications during the test.

Hi there, @LoveMyThings. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 2's battery is draining very fast. I understand why you'd like to replace the battery on your Versa 2, but as @Guy_ has mentioned, we as Fitbit do not do it or suggest to replace the battery as that could permanently damage your watch. The battery on Fitbit devices are not replaceable nor interchanged.
Before doing something to your Fitbit device, please review the section Availability or repair facilities/spare parts and Exclusions and Limitations from this article fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.
As for the issue itself, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor its behavior the next few days. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.
For more tips and recommendations, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Thank you Guy for your response. I have turned off everything which may consume a lot of energy but to no avail

It's getting to old. My Versa 3 started that for a while. It would only last an hour, then wouldn't function correctly. Was told the batteries were not replacable.?

Hi MarreFitBit
Thank you for your advice and I have clicked on the link can I extend my Fitbit device’s battery life and note that after several hundred charge cycles, the device may need to be charged more often. I guess this should be the reason since I did not turn on any notification or alarm etc
Regards

Yes that too is my suspicion, I just came back from cold country of 1-3°C (I’m from temperate region) and notice the depletion of batt life was faster whilst there and even now when back at home country

@LoveMyThings - you are correct, temperature can play a role in battery capacity. Cold temperatures can exhaust the battery much quicker. In general batteries are like humans, and appreciate our preferred temperatures too.
