Versa 2 battery issues after the update

I had a notice about a week ago there was a firmware update so I installed it. Everything seemed fine for a few days and then it started discharging in less than a day. And looks like no option to revert to previous version. Looking on my dashboard it doesn't even show what firmware version it is. My wife is having similar problems of weak battery life so guess what? We are going to treat ourselves to two new Apple watches as an early Christmas gift and say goodbye to Fitbit. We need them for reliability as we get insurance discounts based on out activity.

And from what I have read here Fitbit is non responsive to user issues. Well it was a good 5 year run with these toys but time for a real device now that will be 100% compatible with our IOS devices.

Hi there, @mdb007. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue you and your wife are having with your Fitbit devices. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

As you may know, your Versa 2 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Regarding the firmware version, please note there's no way to roll it back. To check which version you and your wife have, on your Fitbit device please go to the in the Settings app > About or Device Info.
