Versa 2 beeps every hour

I just got a Versa 2 three days ago. It seems to beep every hour on the hour which is getting to be annoying. I tried restarting my Versa 2 but it didn't help. What can I do to stop the beeping?

Hi @-AB and welcome to the forums! It sounds like your Reminders to Move are set to On. You can turn this off from the Fitbit app on your phone. Tap Account -> Versa 2 then scroll down to Reminders to Move. Tap it Off, then go back to the previous screen and tap Sync Now.  That should stop the hourly beeping.  You may want to consider leaving it on. I do. I find it’s a good reminder to get up and move at least once an hour. We are still under “Shelter in Place” orders in Michigan. It’s easy to get comfortable on the couch then stay there for the afternoon or evening. When my Versa 2 buzzes, I make sure to get up and walk around the house, stretching my legs.

Thanks for the response. I've had the Reminders to Move turned off since day one. I don't think that's the problem. It does a single beep (no vibration) on the hour without any notification on the screen. Any other ideas?

@-AB - You’ve got me stumped. You’ve probably looked at these ideas already, but just in case, here are features that would cause a beep although they should show up on your Versa 2 screen:

  • Alarms or timers
  • Notifications from various sources, depending on what you selected (such as email, texts, calendar notifications, notifications from other apps)
  • Alexa alarms

Check them out, just to be sure. Hopefully someone else here on the forums will have a better suggestion.
