My Fitbit is not showing heart rate or anything on the watch after the update. It shows on the app though. I have tried the trouble shooting I read on here with no luck

@Kris1RN Thanks for following the tips and recommendations I've provided above.

As our last resort, I'd suggest performing a restart by following the steps below (please remove your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth before performing this step):

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi there, @Kris1RN. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope this helps.

I JUST got my Versa 2 in 2019. In November 0f 2022 it stopped tracking my sleep. Then it stopped tracking heart rate. Then it started acting funny and it wouldn't light up when I turned my wrist like it use to. It stopped tracking properly when I hiked. Then I tried to do the update and the whole thing just CRASHED. I tried the update 5 times, each time took 2 hours TO NOT WORK AT ALL. Then It started buzzing non-stop for 20 minutes, had to hit the side button to make it finally stop and NOW IT WON'T TURN ON, charge, or do anything. Contacted customer support and of course they need to know where it was purchased. But it was a gift! So dissappointed. Barely 2 years and it already doesn't function. My old fitbit lasted 6 years before I decided to trade up for one that tracks swimming and the swim feature on the Versa 2 was crap.

Someone didn't actually read their comment because they clearly said THEY ALREADY RESTARTED THE DEVICE. The customer service for FitBit is not good.
