My Versa 2 display has gone blank but still registering some of my steps. Unable to reset as watch button does not respond. Any suggestions please?

Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts.
Could you please try to manually sync your device ?
Please, try as well to change the clock face as shown here : How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
Regarding the button, I recommend trying to remove any dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick or swab around the button.
If this doesn't improve the button's functionality, you can try cleaning out the debris using compressed air. Hold the watch at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. Unfortunately I have had no luck changing the clock face as it just spins round. So have bern unable to resolve my problem. Claire
