I have had a versa 2 for a year and a half.
3 or 4 months ago the screen started playing up, the screen became much less responsive. I was still able to tell the time, the watch still picked up data, of which I could see on the app.
Over the past few months the screen has gradually been getting worse, being unable to use the watch features more and more. A week or two ago my screen went dead. I was unable to use the watch features at all. I couldn’t tell the time. The screen was black all the time.
Today the watch’s features have stopped working completely, so now the app is unable to pick up any data from my watch. On top of this my watch will no longer charge.
Whilst my watch has been pretty useless for a while, I have continued to use it to record my sleep and my steps. I am now unable to use it at all.
It very much sounds like a buy a new watch situation, but would anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix the watch?

Hi @Jamjar97 - a degradation of watch functionality like that is definitely terminal, possibly from internal corrosion or bad connection inside.
If your warranty is 2 years it can be replaced.
If not you may be able to get another Versa 2 quite cheaply in the shops or online.
It should be noted that the current Fitbit models don't have all the features your watch has, though other brands have improved significantly in that time.

Hi there, @Jamjar97. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 has become unresponsive. I understand where your concern is coming from. We're here to help!
As a first approach, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa 2. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
If none of the above seems to work, please follow @Guy_'s advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
