My Versa 2 button is no longer working and I cannot do a forced restart. In addition to this, my versa is failing to sync and my battery is draining at an alarming rate. I wanted to perform a forced restart in hopes that would resolve the issues, but since my button is unresponsive, I can’t do this.

I had the same problem and thought I'd have to buy a new one. Tried all the online chats and Support but nothing worked. I left it sitting on my desk for 6 months and was about to have a local repairer look at it so I put it on charge overnight and lo and behold it works perfectly again....

I cleaned it with a toothpick and swab with alcohol and was able to get the button to work temporarily, but enough to do a restart. The restart seemed to solve the battery issue, but less than an hour later, the button stopped working once again! Right now, the button is useless. For as new as this watch is and for what this cost, I shouldn’t be having these problems. Obviously they need to do an update for their Versa 2 watches, but there hasn’t been one in a long time. As far as I’m concerned, I’m done with Fitbit. I’m going to buy a new Apple Watch instead.
