Versa 2 button not responding

Just completed an exercise and the stop button will not respond.  I can't get past pause...

Please try cleaning around the button of your Fitbit Versa 2 with a toothpick to remove any dust or moisture that may be affecting its functionality. In addition, you can try restarting your watch by following these steps.
