Versa 2 button stopped working

I have done all the troubleshooting recommended in other posts. It continues to monitor my activity, HR etc but I can only see the results in the app after syncing. The face of my watch is stuck on a screen that pops up when you disconnect the watch and then reconnect it. I cannot restart it nor install a new watch face. Also I have cleaned the button with compressed air and toothpick— nothing. The button does compress but nothing happens when it does.
