Versa 2 can't log into Spotify

Started having this problem where I log into my spotify account on the fitbit app (I have the premium account for spotify) but then after an hour or so it says I have a free spotify account. The reason this is problematic is because I want to control spotify from the app on the watch but it says I need to have a premium spotify account to do so. So then I log out of spotify from the fitbit app and sign in. It then shows that i have the premium account but later on will switch back to the free account. Can anyone help?

We're aware of an issue where you sign in to your Spotify Premium account in the Fitbit app and soon after it reverts you back to the free version
