I have a Galaxy 8S Plus phone. My new Versa 2 is not receiving calls or text messages. It is very disappointing and I cannot figure out why it wont work. It took forever to pair with my phone after turning my bluetooth on and off several times it finally paired but now the notifications aren't being received.

It took days of checking all the settings in my phone and the versa 2 for notifications to show on my watch. It is still hit and miss for them to come thru. I am very disappoiinted with the performance of this "smart watch". Still undecided to return it If you use any email app on your phone besides the gmail mail app. you will need to add you account to the gmail account since that is the only chose given in notifications for e-mail.

I got a versa 2 yesterday (to upgrade from the blaze since it would no longer display my text message notifications) and the versa 2 is doing the exact same thing. I have checked all notification settings, i have restarted my iphone 8 and the versa 2, i have tried all suggestions on fitbit help, chats/forums and still am not receiving text notifications. Looking for any help / suggestions beyond what i have tried. Going to give it a day or two and then will return. Whole point of getting the new device was to see notifications.

I am having the same issues. My text notifications are not coming through and I have done all the troubleshooting suggested. I got my Versa 2 yesterday and I was receiving the text notifications yesterday but I am not now. This was a Christmas Gift and I would hate to go back to the person that bought it for me and tell them to return it. I have had Fitbit products for years now so I am not new to the concept. I would really like my text to come through as this was one of the biggest things I wanted so I could do the quick replies as I couldn't do that with my Charge 2. I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge and it worked fine with my Charge 2. Can someone please help?

I haven't been getting my text notifications for months. I've done all the troubleshooting and contacted customer service multiple times just to hear that it's an ongoing problem and they're working on it. I've had Fitbits for about 5 years and this issue is what's finally made me decide to go to Apple Watch. My Versa is less than a year old and it's only worked the way it should for about 6 months. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

You can try restarting both your phone and the versa2 this occasionally works for me, but I think this is an ongoing problem with the watch, fitbit knows it and can't seem to fix it.

I got the Versa for Christmas and I am upgrading from the Charge 2.
I get phone call notifications but i am not getting text message ones.
this is not my first FITBIT so i am familiar with this .I set up my wifes Versa Lite and hers is working perfectly.
its one of the features i like best.
So frustrating,
