Versa 2 charging issues

I just received a Versa 2 as a gift. I read that it should only take about two hours to charge your watch and that you should be able to see the battery percentage as the watch is charging.

The only thing I have been able to see is the fitbit logo, and my watch has been charging for 12 hours. Keep in mind this is after being taken straight of the box. Every time I take it out of the charger it goes completely black. Maybe there is something I am missing as being a new user?

Regarding the charging issues that your Versa 2 experienced, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you were sent a replacement unit.
