Versa 2 compatibility with redmi note 7 pro

Hey everyone, from the community posts I learnt that there's notification prob with redmi note 7 pro.

What about other features like Sleep tracking and other fitness tracking. Is ot compatible?

Hi @abigarg  unfortunately, when a phone isn't compatible, there may be some issues with various features.

This is from a moderator:

"Fitbit products are compatible with most devices that have the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12.2 and higher, Android OS 7.0 and higher, or Windows 10 v1607 or higher. 

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update, something very similar to what's happened to you. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance. "

Actually I do not have versa 2 yet but I was thinking to purchase it today. Redmi note 7 pro has bluetooth 5.0 and android 9.0

What's your opinion?

I know Fitbit does update firmware and their app periodically, so it's hard to know what to tell you. I have a Samsung S8 using Android 9 and I get notifications just fine. It's all up to what you feel best. I know I waited to get my Samsung phone, thinking it wouldn't work and it did. You seem to want the Versa 2, so what do you think? You know the community will be here if you have any questions or concerns and support is awesome.
