Versa 2 constantly rebooting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

@JuanFitbit - see other thread as well that Versa 2 users are experiencing it constantly rebooting. Mine has rebooted several times today while on my wrist. Has full battery.

I'm an Android user, and the FitBit app updated yesterday. Did FitBit push out something that is causing Versa 2s to repeatedly reboot?

Yes, I can't read my screen outside anymore either. I've even brightened the screen several times, but it seems to reset itself back to a darker mode.

@JuanFitbit - I'm not saying FitBit intentionally pushed something to make them reboot on a loop, but it seems odd that all of us seem to reporting this starting within the last few weeks. Sounds like a bug in the firmware for the Versa 2 or a bug in the FitBit app that is connected to Versa 2s.

Hi @spayne322 - please try with the phone Bluetooth turned off. Sometimes a pending action can cause a reboot during syncing after Fitbit App updates or clock/app updates/changes.

I am experiencing the same things. My watch kept turning on and off yesterday, it then turned on but I couldn't use any of the functions on the screen. My alarm turned on this morning but I couldn't turn it off because the screen was black. For the rest of the day I have had a thin white line at the top of the screen. And now there is a bright speckled screen on my watch. I have restarted it several times, charged it fully and followed every other instruction on the Fitbit page.

I am also an Android user and have only ever used Fitbits. I feel like I might be jumping ship soon though...

Update: I charged my phone overnight two nights ago and woke up to a black screen. This was after the app indicated another update was taking place. When I tried to turn it on in the morning by holding the home button down nothing happened. I am now getting an alert on the app saying that my battery is running low despite it being off and having a completely black screen.

Frustration levels have risen considerably.
