Versa 2 counting steps while driving

Just received my versa 2 yesterday but not real happy as far as counting steps goe . It is counting steps while I am driving. I drive a school bus so I know I haven't done 8,000 steps toda . Please help because I really don't want to return this watch

@Shelljacks, I'm sorry for the late response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.

 

Regarding the extra steps that your Fitbit Versa 2 is tracking, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided.

 

As a side note, I'd like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you can share your experiences, meet people and create new topics.

My issue has not been resolved. I just got tired of not really getting any
kind of help. I am almost at 10,000 steps for the day and there is no way
right. I shouldn't have to take my watch off in my bus or vehicle to get
more accurate steps.
