Versa 2 cracked screen

Hi everyone, unfortunately I dropped my watch and it cracked really bad.   I love my watch and it is not too old but out of warranty.   I have seen many videos how to replace the screen and I am pretty good at it (I have done other watches and even Ipods, etc).   However, when I search for replacement LCD screens for versa 2 watches, the back of it looks different.  I was able to remove my LCD screen and it has two ribbons but most of the replacement screens I find in the internet only have one ribbon.  How do I find the correct lcd part number?

Hi there @jcsanabriac, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your Versa 2's screen damage and that you're now out of the warranty period.

Please note the screen cannot be replaceable. When a tracker suffers damage while under warranty, you can contact Customer Support. Discounts and replacements depend on tracker model and other factors

However, as our warranty states, it doesn't apply to damage or defects caused by:

(a) use with non-Fitbit products

(b) accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes

(c) normal wear and tear or aging of the Product such as discoloration or stretching

(d) operating the Product:

     (i) outside the permitted or intended uses described by Fitbit

(ii) not in accordance with instructions provided by Fitbit

(iii) with improper voltage or power supply.

For more information about this, you can check our warranty policy.

Before doing something to your watch, please review Availability or repair facilities/spare parts and Exclusions and Limitations

Its not an LCD screen, its a 1.4-inch colour OLED display.

Find someone on here with a dead watch [due to bad firmware] but screen will be ok.

A doable project.
