Versa 2 deleted previously synced data

Hello,

 

I wonder if someone can help. My Fitbit versa two appears to have deleted my data for steps and activity that was previously syncd. 

today between 1:45-3:30 I walked about 7000 steps, which showed on my device and in the app. About 30 min later, my steps on the app and device dropped to 2900 for the day total. When I look at the steps in the hours above they are all at exactly 315 steps. Is anyone else having this issue?

My data from today has disappeared too!

I’ve had trouble with syncing recently, between device and app, and after resetting (following advice) everything from today has vanished. So frustrating
