Versa 2 distance tracking is inaccurate when using GPS

Hi

Got a new Versa 2. I've been out for runs with it where an app on my phone tracks 7.5km and the Fitbit only tracks 5.9

Example

The Fitbit app shows the correct route, but an incorrect distance? It's using GPS - not steps?

I'll take it back if it can't track distance correctly, it's my main reason for owning one?

@JRHartleypool, I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it's not tracking accurate distance when using GPS.

Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, please check out this help article, which explains how your Fitbit device captures your GPS data. Also, follow the steps listed in this help page in order to adjust your stride length, which is an important setting in order to get more accurate readings.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
