Versa 2 factory reset won’t sync

I did a factory reset on my Versa 2 which I’ve had for a little over a year. The reset is done but I’ve been trying to sync it back on my iPhone and it won’t show up on the Bluetooth settings. I’ve tried turning off the phone and restarting it after 2 minutes, force quitting the Fitbit app and turning Bluetooth on and off, following all the instructions I’ve seen in the forum and nothing works.

@Simona1996  - the watch may have a fault but try logout of the Fitbit App and restart both watch and phone and try setup again.

You will need the watch on charge and near the phone and WiFi source.

There have been changes in the most recent Fitbit App and there may be a bug. Let us know how it goes.

Hi @Simona1996 - after a factory reset (it's now empty like when you got it) if you have a Versa 2 Bluetooth entry remove it from the phone.

You can't set it up in Bluetooth it has to be done by the app.

In the Fitbit App, click profile photo and " + Set up a Device" and replace to set it up all over again.

How odd, I'm having the exact problem this evening. I cannot sync at all.  I'm starting to think this premium app membership is a wasted $79...

Getting notifications but nothing will sync...

Hi! Thanks for your reply. The problem is when I try to set it up on the Fitbit app, “+ set up a device”, I select Versa2 from the menu, agree to terms and conditions, and then it prompts me to connect the Fitbit to Bluetooth in my phone’s settings, but it won’t even come up as an option. The previous entry doesn’t even come up anymore after the factory reset, not even on my Fitbit App profile.
