Versa 2 has red dead battery symbol with exclamation point. What now?

Early today I noticed that my screen wasn’t working properly, it showed the design but not the time so I turned off the screen but when I tried to turn it back on it wouldn’t. So I tried to reset it and it’s giving me a red battery symbol with a red exclamation point on top of the battery. My battery was about 54% charged. It has no updates. I tried deleting everything off my phone. Hoping an update would pop up afterwards but that wouldn’t help either. Now what Fitbit?

Mine did it too and now I can’t access anything but my clock face.

I had a low battery, put it on to charge over night and in the morning it had the same exclamation mark. Can’t turn it on yet the app says the battery is fully charged. Trying to do an update but it keeps asking if the Fitbit is turned on. Very frustrating.

Same with me.  I put in the charger but get no indication that it is actually charging.  Tried reset, no luck.  Hoping to get a solution from someone.

Mine is the same. Did anyone get resolution on how to reset it or get rid of the exclamation point?

Submitted content: Yes. After live chatting with Fitbit customer service a few times, and
trying to recharge it, hard reset it, both before and after contacting them
(several times), they authorized sending it back to them. This was at
their expense and I should be receiving a replacement very soon.

Not being able to resolve the problem by resetting, etc. was a bit
frustrating. But, I was pleased at Fitbit’s response after going through
the reset/recharge/clean the contacts attempts. I expect to receive my
replacement in the next couple of days.
