Versa 2 heart rate accuracy concern during exercise

I've been having some troubles with the HR ever since updating in january. The HR would all of the sudden drop below 110bpm and not go up again for a few minutes. I'm also realising that the watch has trouble searching the HR and is al over the place. In a matter of 3 seconds dropping more than 70bpm and then go up for 30 and again down for 20. I've been working out at home: yoga, HIIT... for more than 2 years with my fitbit and never had any trouble. Ever since the update it had gotten this bad.

I started running and walking more this week and to my joy the watch doesn't have any trouble with finding my heartbeat while running and it stays pretty stabel and high. So I don't understand why all of the sudden it has trouble when I'm working out on the yoga mat at home.

I've tried resetting so many times already. Searched the pages to wear my fitbit better but nothing helps. More than all it gotten worse again this week.

Hello @Raïssa, your participation here in the Community Forums is appreciated.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, I recommend you to check the information that's specified on our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified there. Please let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I've been reading all the articles and tried all the steps listed. I still have problems with the HR. I've tried a factory reset just now and will let you know if it worked. Thank you for the help!

The factory reset worked a bit but I still have problems with workouts on the mat. The moment I use my hands to balance on the HR drops because he can't read it anymore. I don't know what to do anymore.
