I've been using my Versa 2 for a couple of years now, and use it daily to track workouts. In the last month or so, it has stopped tracking correctly during workouts. For example, I will be doing intense cardio, and it will show a heart rate in the 80s (below zone) which is not accurate. At first, removing the device and wiping both it and my wrist would help "reset" the HR. Now though that's not working, and it's a huge hassle in the middle of a workout to stop more than once to reset the device. Any ideas on how to get it back to tracking normally?

Hi @c_tweedy, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:
However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:
I'll be waiting for your reply if further assistance is needed.

Ever since I updated mine a month or so ago mine has not been tracking right either! It was doing fine before that update. I do high fitness and my heart will usually peak between 175 and 185 and it used to say I would burn between 600 and 700 calories. Im lucky if my fitbit registers my heart rate at 165. It is now telling me I'm only burning 400-500 calories at the most. Im wondering if something got messed up when they did the update?? Its very frustrating. No matter how I wear the fitbit it never reads correctly anymore.

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am continuing to experience this problem, even after troubleshooting and ensuring my device and app are up to date. In answer to your follow up questions, I notice this problem only while exercising. Specifically, while doing intense cardio (rowing, jump rope, etc.). I know that my HR is in cardio or peak - 145-185 - and the device shows 80-90, below zone. I have tried both tightening and loosening my device on my wrist. I wear it in the same location/way I have worn every device since I became a Fitbit user almost 6 years ago - on my left wrist the way you wear a standard watch. If there's anything else I need to try please let me know. Thanks -

Hi there, any update on this issue? It is getting worse and really messing up my workouts. I don't want to stop using Fitbit but I need a tracker that supports my activities. Thanks!
