Versa 2 heart rate tracking accuracy concern

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Got problems with my fit bit, when I’m working out my heart rate can go from 110 to like 140 within 2 seconds then dips again, and continues to do so over mostly the workout! I have tried all tips by Fitbit, making it tight and 2 finger width on my arm. But nothing seems to help, any help regarding this?

Hi @Kiirstyleanne, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:

  1. What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically what types of exercise?
  2. Were you wearing the Fitbit device particularly tight or loose?
  3. What was the position of the Fitbit device on your wrist?

I'll be waiting for your reply if further assistance is needed.

Thankyou, for getting back in touch with me I have tried the specific details that is stated on the website to measure the heart rate better and this is not working either.

I wear the Fitbit for all my workouts, wether this be HIT, weights, low impact, boxing on my right arm, when doing weights I have this about 2 fingers width from my wrist as Fitbit say. I have this tight but not we’re this is suffocating my arm.

I upgraded the fit bit as I had a older one and I feel this is worse, it jumps within a second about 50bmp up or down constantly. I am really unhappy with this product and feel like this is such a waste of money, if it doesn’t work correctly.

Thankyou, Kirsty
