My Fitbit started to glitch this past weekend. It goes from screen to screen with out touching it. When I try touching the screen, it is frozen. I use the timer a lot and that stopped working today. My battery is charged.i tried restarting and still glitches.

Hi @Burnapet - unfortunately those symptoms are an early onset indication of a watch fault, possibly from moisture getting in (recently or over time).

As a last resort you could try a factory reset but this isn't without risk and as you already have issues you may not be able to set it up again, especially if the screen stops working properly.

Though if still under warranty it can be replaced.

Hi there, @Burnapet. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is still acting odd. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you!

I agree with @Guy_. Have you tried cleaning your Versa 2? If you haven't done so yet, please see How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Nevertheless, I do agree with the factory reset as our last resort.
Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please sync your Versa 2 and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Sounds like touch screen has been damaged.  Mine started same thing.  Saw a new scratch on screen screen, when I played around that area it would stop jumping for awhile till something rubbed it again.
