Versa 2 is not receiving Messenger notifications

I have done all the things listed, and still no Messenger app. I have a Fitbit Versa 2 and an iPhone 12. The Messenger app is not visible in the download apps section on my Fitbit app. Help! I receive Messenger notifications just fine on my phone, but not on my Fitbit. What do I do?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

 

I would like to clarify, there is no option to download or install Messenger or WhatsApp from the Fitbit Gallery. To receive notifications from third party apps, you can follow these instructions.

 

The latest firmware version for your watch is 72.1.19 as stated in this article. For instructions on how to check your current version and update, please visit this article.
