Versa 2 is showing the wrong time

Hi there, I'm having this problem for the first time and I have had the watch for over a year now. Watch is 18min behind. I synced it with my phone, tried restarting it but nothing works. I've checked the time zone and it's correct. I seriously don't understand how this could happen. If it was an hour ahead or behind, I'd understand that maybe it's a time zone error but being 18 minutes behind makes absolutely no sense to me.

Hi @amilab88 - this can happen if it is not syncing properly.

One thing you can try is to turn off automatic time zone and location and logout of the app and restart both watch and phone and sync.

Then turn on automatic time zone and sync again.

PS. A good watch should not lose much time. mine seconds watch has lost less than 9 seconds in over 3 weeks without syncing.

The fact your watch has lost that much time is not a good sign, unless it has been off at some point.

Hope that helps.

Hi there, @amilab88. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. @Guy_ Thanks for your help!

If none of the steps you've tried worked, I recommend changing your time zone to a complete different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.

As a friendly reminder, please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with.

If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? or if  you need to relink your watch, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

For more information, see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

Thank you! I turned off the automatic time zone and then restarted the watch and synced again. It's all good now.

I was surprised by the time lost but maybe it's because it turned off due to low battery since I never had problems with loosing time even when I didn't sync my watch for few weeks.
