Versa 2 issues

My Versa 2 screen wouldn’t let me swipe. I did a soft reset and it didn’t help. So then I tried a hard factory reset by holding the button down releasing once the logo went away and then pressing. It tried to reset but then gave an error saying not all data was cleared so I can’t re sync or set it back up now

You need to do another factory reset. 

Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 

When the Fitbit logo disappears:

Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 

Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

We have tried 3 factory resets and tried to resume three times but at the end of each reset it gives a big red x saying that not all the data was cleared and to try again

We were told by the support team to update the firmware but it won’t even let us update so we are stuck between not being able to update or reset
