Versa 2 won’t sync. Message - data not cleared. Sync and try again. How do I clear the data?

Please, try the following steps:
Sync the device in the Fitbit app.
Check for available Firmware updates.
Charge the Versa 2: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port. (computer or UL-certified wall charger).

Best AnswerThanks for your response. None of the answers worked. The message I keep getting is "the data did not clear" so it starts syncing but cannot complete the sync
