Versa 2 message: data won’t clear sync and try again

Versa 2 won’t sync. Message - data not cleared. Sync and try again. How do I clear the data?

Thank you for providing the details regarding this difficulty with your Versa 2. 

Please, try the following steps:

Sync the device in the Fitbit app.

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
  2. Choose the device they want to sync.
  3. Tap Sync Now 

Check for available Firmware updates.

  1. With the Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app: Make sure the Fitbit device is charged.
  2. Tap the Today tab > Devices > your device.
  3. Tap Update (This option only appearse if an update is available).
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions: Keep the device close to your phone during the update. 
  5. When the update starts, a progress bar appears on the device and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete. 

Charge the Versa 2: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port. (computer or UL-certified wall charger).
