Versa 2: mobility issues and tracking steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just purchased a Vera 2. I went for a long walk with my walker (okay, it was 2 blocks, but for me, long) and of course the steps weren't counted. How do I track my steps if using a walker? There must be a way, right? Fitbit, please, it's hard enough to navigate the fitness world with mobility issues. Please make it possible to easily track steps if using a walking aid...or a stroller or a shopping cart for that matter.

When I have to use my walker I put it on my Ankle or just in my pocket.

It wont count steps unless it see the arms swinging. It wont count when holding on to anything.

You will lose accurate Heart rate but that doesn't bother me

Thank you, Wendy. I'll throw it in my pocket. I don't really care about losing the heartrate feature when I'm just walking either.
