JudyL. This latest update is an epic fail!  How can a product that has been working so we’ll get so messed up.  I will see if you can fix the many issues.  If you can’t, I will change to  a different product.  I have been using fitbit since 2017!

I agree.  Nothing is working after the last update.  Thinking about an Apple product if this is not fixed.

Agreed! Ever since the last update the display on my Versa 2 has been flickering or at the worst is nonexistent! Very frustrating

Agreed.....not reading heart rate. And flickers.

I wanted to update.  After being forced to stop using Fitbit account by changing to the google sign in (giving Google access to my info) I can now sync and everything is working great.  I guess Google decided to place a hard stop on my use without going through them.

I tried that and it’s still not working. The update and forced to share with google has been an epic fail. If it’s not fixed very soon, this loyal customer user will be removing all shared data and apps and purchasing the competitor

I was mysteriously suddenly logged out of the app 2 days ago. Signing back in, I had the option of Fitbit or Google sign in. I stayed with Fitbit. Worked fine for me. I found this online. You aren't required to move to a Google Account immediately, but will need to move by 2025.

I didn’t share with Google but then it wasn’t capturing the heart rate or sleep scores. So I tried sharing to see if that was the case. It didn’t work either and still doesn’t work. (iPhone 11 with Versa 2)

Well no one is being forced to share with Google at this point if you already had a fitbit account. I would think the issues are more with the new app and/or syncing. Not related to sign on at all. Last I saw, switching to Google had it's own problems. I am holding off.

I didn't move to Google at first but then when nothing else worked for me, I did.  Everything starting syncing immediately.  I am not saying it would work for everyone, just that it seemed to work for me.  I don't like the app since the last update but am trying to live with it at the moment.  If it stops again, I will just go to another tracker and app.

@BLYRN1976 I'd say that's just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with what account you signed on with. I had trouble syncing a couple days ago, and just left it alone for a while. It was working again about an hour later.
