My Versa 3 is a little over one year old and I used to charge it every three days. The watch was dark when I woke up in the middle of the night and found out the battery level was zero. I charged it the previous night to 100%, which is very odd. I followed many suggestions on the Fitbit community and none of them worked. The battery is still draining fast. The only thing different is I updated my iPhone to IOS 17 last night. The battery drains so fast that the watch is almost not usable. Please help!!!

Hi @AlliL - if the watch has a fault it can drain very fast.
If you believe the IOS update is the cause turn off the phone Bluetooth and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, then the watch may have developed a fault, often caused by water accumulating, so check for condensation in the sensor windows on the back with a magnifying glass.

Hi there, @AlliL. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your worry is coming from. @Guy_ Thank you so much for your input!
Before considering other options, may I know if by any chance you're using snore detection? Please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I don't use a snore sensor and don't have it always on. I already tried all the suggestions that will reduce battery usage. I did turn off Blue Tooth and the battery dropped from full to 50% in 7 hours while I was sleeping. If there is water damage, is there anything I can do to fix it? Vera 3 should be waterproof and I only have it a little over one year.

@AlliL - if the watch has suffered damage unfortunately there is not a lot you can do about it.
You can try removing the SpO2 tracker app in the Gallery tile, and if you are a premium user remove snore detection.
Make sure the watch does not get hot when charging and if so stop immediately.
It is also possible to try drying it in a bag of rice but it won't undo any damage already done.

Thank you again for the helpful tips. I don't use the snore sensor feature. I think it is probably water damage even though I don't even wear it when I wash my face. This is unfortunate because Versa 3 is supposed to be waterproofed.

I have the exact same issue and it started about the same time as yours, it is frustrating that the Fitbit help line is basically helpless in finding a solution
now looking at other watches
ps my broken old original Fitbit that is 7 years old still holds charge for 3-4 days

Agree! They just copy & paste the standard answers which I already found online from other threads. Guy_ actually gave me the most useful clues. I called customer service and complained about the water damage issue. It is unacceptable that a "waterproof" watch is broken because of water damage. They offered me 35% off for a new watch. It still does not justify it. If my new Versa 4 is not going to last for as much as I have paid for, this will be my last Fitbit.
