I purchased my versa 2 in feb 2020. Two days ago I had gone swimming and my versa was submerged in water no deeper than 3 feet. My versa went black and would not turn on. I noticed water seeping out the back. I put it in rice for 36 hours and tried to charge it. The screen continues to be black despite holding the side button to reset and became very hot charging. I can still see water by the sensors. Is the Fitbit fried? Disappointed that it’s not very old and is advertised as water proof and now it doesn’t work. Is 2 years the average lifespan of your products? I’m assuming mine will no longer work again as I’ve tried all the steps to attempt to get it to work.
