Versa 2 not an option on Fitbit Connect

I have just got my new Versa 2. I have synced with my iphone and want to add music. It says I can only do this from the desktop app. I downloaded the Fitbit Connect App for Mac but Versa 2 is not an option in trying to set up the desktop app. 

How do I find the Versa 2 option?

Is there a way to add music from the mobile app?

Hello @ChazT and welcome to the Help forums.  You don't need to set up your Versa 2 with your desktop.  It is already set up on your account, because you set it up on your iPhone.  But you do need Fitbit Connect to transfer your music.

 

When you open Fitbit Connect, you want to use the Manage My Music option only.  The other options don't work with a Versa 2.  The music that you want to transfer must be organized into a playlist.  If you go to this Help article How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch? and scroll about a third of the way down, there is a "How do I transfer ...." section.  Tap on the Mac and there is a video.  It says it is for the Ionic, but the steps are the same for your Versa 2.

Thanks. I have managed to create a playlist but it won’t transfer to the
watch. I’m not sure what the issue is as it say transfer completed on both
the desktop and the watch but then there is no music on the watch.

@ChazT   I wish I had a perfect answer for you, but I haven't experienced your problem.  Just to be sure, it is important that you music must be free of any DRM encryption.  Also, review the troubleshooting steps in this Help article: Why can't I download .......?  Also, did you try removing all of the music, then trying the download again?

When all else fails, contact Support.
