I bought my Fitbit Versa 2 less then a year ago. One of the main reasons I bought it was to be able to use it to control my smarthome. Once bought I found out that Alexa was not supported in the Netherlands and still, up to this day, I can't use it on my watch. Now I find out that Versa 2 will not get Google Assistant and that the latest OS is not going to be available on the Versa 2, only on the 3.
I regret so very much buying this watch. Within a year it is already outdated and not getting feature updates and I have to get a new watch WTF??? I should have bought an Apple watch or a Garmin instead.
I hope this Google will eventually ditch this brand and maybe then they will get a decent watch. In the mean time I won't recommend anybody Fitbit and will start saving for a real smartwatch in stead of this dumbwatch

I feel the same way! I will be moving to either Garmin or Apple once m done with my current versa2...no point investing in a brand that doesn't care about supporting devices which are launched less than an year back.

Yes it is shocking to see them releasing a version 3 within a year and already stopping their support on a device less than a year old. I feel that is an unacceptable thing and not sustainable at all.

Exactly and moreover their customer support sucks it’s better to talk to a bot than to their customer support and also with zero repair ability of devices total disaster... versa 2 n versa 3 not much of a change except for the speaker support on 3 rest of the specs more or less same ... versa 3 again those thick ugly bezzles can’t understand what their problem
