Since I purchased my Versa 2 (about 4 months) it has not received notifications from my Android Note 9. It receives all messages from Fitbit but not the text messages or calls. It doesn't vibrate nor show the message. By miracle it did notify me of a call one time ramdonly and never did it again. I have followed your setup instructions, restart it Nutting worked so far. I think it's defective.
Please help.

Make sure the settings on the watch are ok, that you aren't accidentally in Do not disturb or Sleep mode.
Pull down once on the watch and then again and click on the 2 white bars to get to Quick settings and make sure those 2 are greyed out.
Also check you setup, especially if you reinstalled the App at any time.
In the phone Fitbit App Click on profile photo [top left] Device photo [middle left] Notifications And verify the top 4 items are correctly defined. Also App notifications and select any apps you want to hear from.

Don't forget to configure On Wrist calls in the App and make sure that the watch is syncing well with the phone. If it is not then you won't get calls or notifications.

The don't disturb buttom was the problem. I think I'm getting more notifications now. Still waiting about text and calls to see if it was fixed. Everything else was selected as you described. Thank you
